BURNT CUSTARD ; ZOMGEE ICING

I don't know why, but of late, I've been suddenly overcome with this intense humming floating sensation whenever I think of baking or cooking.
Tried making custard puffs for Ben (though it's called Cream Puff, don't know why, but custard is cream -.-) (and yes, Ben's gonna be my guinea pig for everything I make +D, so he had a mouthful of carbon-infused-custard on the 4th of November 2009 XD) (my dogs love the burnt custard though, guess I can give all the screw-ups to my dogs +D)
So since the custard puffs were a complete screw-up, I decided to make some cupcakes instead, to be specific, Green Tea cupcakes, as stated in the recipe I printed out.
When it came out of the oven, it was brown.
Somehow.
Apparently adding cocoa to your cupcakes, even if just a little bit, would make your cupcakes turn chocolate. -.-
Nobody told me that.
Hence, it was Chocolate cupcakes I baked.
And not Green Tea cupcakes.

Mehhh, but it turned out pretty okay apparently +D

I have this extreme fascination[or you could say obsession] for pastries with custard or strawberries and whipped cream.

Just now, while walking back to the carpark with my mom, we passed by this bread shop.
And I saw a pastry with custard and chocolate and another with whipped cream and strawberries.
I nearly had a nosebleed.
Didn't get a picture of either cause I ate them straight away. [eating is more important than taking their damned pictures. which I know i would regret when I want to show what it was]
So anyways, came home, typed "whipped cream with strawberries in bread" and pictures came up.
HOLY MOTHER OF STRAWBERRIES AND WHIPPED ASS.

ZOMG-BBQ.

Bon Odori was fun,

or meet up with them (Xin Yi T_T)

It was still bright when we went there,

we got conned in the food section,
pretty dumb,
considering this is the 3rd time i've been there.
We bought takoyaki which had no sotong in it, -.-

And that we bought an orange vodka alcoholic drink,
thinking that it was an orange fruit/fizzy drink.
We sat on our fans,
thinking that it would be fine.
Turns out the floor was fairly dirty,
and we were a bunch of messy people,
spilling sticky sweet stuff onto the fans.
We only danced for a short time,
with me trying to see if there were any cute drummers.
But turns out they were all,
*ahem* not very good-looking this year,
mabye cause i've grown up,
and that they seem younger each year I go.
But some good pictures were taken,
and some memories formed.

So all in all,
Bon Odori 2009 wasn't that bad.

Yesterday was my first orientation for college.
Not that I'd have a 2nd one XD
And today was officially my 1st day of attending classes at college.
Well, technically, I only had one class today, which was Intermediate English that was held from 3.30 till 5pm, [because even though we had IT in the morning, we didn't really do anything because we didn't have access to the computer due to our lack of computer and account passwords +D]
But of course, we had to made the mistake of being late on our very first lesson!!! XP
During that whole 9 till 3.30 period, which was a total of 6 and a half hours, me, Benedict, Joel, Christine and Damian loitered around the school and we found out that the DSA room had guitars and pianos!!! and foosball and snooker tables XD
AND the television!!!
So, due to an execss of time, me and Benedict went to midvalley to watch Diary of the Dead

Which was a movie with no ending -.-
And to add on to that, there were these bunch of noisy %$%^# sitting beside us.
Hallelujah.
But it wasn't that bad ><
So, in conclusion, today was pretty much un-crammy XD
But I'm tired -.-
This is screwed up, I only had ONE actual class today.
I will have longer and more classes once next week starts -.-

29/12/2008 : Signed up for college. Foundation in arts at help :)

30/12/2008 : Watched Yes Man with Xin Yi!! XD Haven't seen her in a whileeeee, well, one or 2 weeks. lol. Xin Yi has bigger eyes recently XD have you been practising widening your eyes XD

31/12/2008 : Went to 1u for class new year outing. Well, I guess it can't really be counted a class outing considering the number of people that turned up and with the addition of other people from other classes, it would be more suitable labelled as 'an outing' XD. Countdown-ed with them at the curve, where the fireworks were once again amazing. Didn't take any pictures, but Kuo Wei did. And wow, this year was fun XD. Got sprayed till we all had white hair and we could feel the foam in our mouths XD. Had Jia Pei, Janice, and Pei Zhen over for the night :) I love blue lights XDD We slept at, 5am on new year's day :D

1/1/2009 : It's new year's day!!! Went to watch Mamma Mia with Su and Sue Ping, which totally rocked. Dang Xin Yi, you were right, it was unbelievably hornified. lol. But danggg, it was gooooood. :P Dancing Queen, Mamma Mia, Waterloo, Money money money, Take a chance on me, damn, these were the songs I grew up with! p.s: my dad's a fan of ABBA. We then took a taxi to the Pavillion. DAMN, taxi's nowadays are a complete and TOTAL ripoff!!! The idiot asshole charged us 20rm just from istana budaya to the Pavillion. Said it was 'jammed' and all. BULLSHIT!!! It was hardly jam, in fact it was pretty darn clear!! He refused to use the freakin meter. Huh, and I thought they were supposed to use the meter. WTF??? Should've taken down the number plate. Guhhh. -.- I slept at 6am on 2nd of January. I got to utilize my webcam by experimenting it with Benedict. I am so sorry I stole your sleep time ><

2/1/2009 : Well, I can't really remember what happened yesterday -.- so. Well, the 2nd of february is blank. haha.

3/1/2009 : Now it's currently 4.33 in the afternoon. My grandfather is down in town here :D and my aunt. And he's watching tv....a cooking show? lol. And, later I shall be going for Su's farewell ><>

is a 3 hour long show.
Bloody hell.
Though I am thankful that I was in the Signature GSC instead of the normal one XD
How did I get tickets?
Well, the story is this :
My cousin's mom got free tickets. 4. to the Signature GSC to watch Australia. So, my cousin, Yin Pin, took 2 and offered me 2. So, I asked around and in the end Benedict offered himself [even if you didn't offer, I would've asked, it's just that you offered before I could ask you whether you wanted to go XD]

Anyway, dang. Am I thankful we sat in that cinema. [and for the comforters and the recliner :3~ dang it's comfy. even more comfortable than my own BED]
The show was long.
And whenever I thought it ended and got ready to stand up, turns out it wasn't over yet!
So, the movie's a tad draggy.
But, there were some funny scenes too XD
Conclusion : Australia would be better on dvd, not exactly worth your 60rm or 12rm at the cinemas.
